Dashboard Confessional are on tour now supporting their first album in nine years, Crooked Shadows. They’re playing songs off that one of course, but also making time for tons of old faves like “Saints and Sailors,” “The Sharp Hint of New Tears,” “Hands Down,” “Screaming Infidelities,” and a handful of others. The tour is also with two killer openers, fist-raising punks Beach Slang and indie rockers Kississippi, whose anticipated debut album Sunset Blush comes out this week (4/6).

The tour hit NYC’s Brooklyn Steel on Thursday (3/29), and pictures of that show are in the gallery above. We didn’t get Dashboard’s exact setlist from that show, but you can see the Boston setlist below. The tour includes another NYC-area show tonight (4/2) at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. It’s sold out but resale tickets are available.

After this tour ends, Beach Slang singer James Alex will release a new album and tour with his Quiet Slang project, which offers up stripped-down, cello and piano-aided versions of Beach Slang songs.
