Dave Pajo releasing new Papa M album 'Highway Songs,' shares "Walking on Coronado"

Slint’s Dave Pajo is thankfully ok after a scary motorcycle accident earlier this year, and now he’s announced a new solo album under his Papa M moniker. This is the first Papa M album since 2004’s Hole of Burning Alms and his first solo album at all since 2009’s Scream With Me. The new LP is called Highway Songs, and it’s due on November 11 via Drag City.

He’s shared a new track from the album called “Walking on Coronado,” a lovely instrumental track, mainly based around acoustic guitar with some electronic flourishes. You can stream that, and check out the tracklist for Highway Songs, below.
