David Longstreth & Nat Baldwin talking new Dirty Projectors LP at The Strand
Dirty Projectors‘ new album, Lamp Lit Prose, is out next week (7/13) and the day before its release, main man David Longstreth will be talking about the record with DP bassist Nat Baldwin at NYC’s The Strand (7/12). The event happens in The Strand’s Rare Book room at 7 PM and you’ll need to buy a copy of the new LP (or a $15 Strand gift certificate) from The Strand to attend. Details here.
Lamp Lit Prose features guest appearances from Empress Of, Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) & Rostam, Syd, Amber Mark, and Dear Nora. You can watch videos for “That’s A Lifestyle” and “Break Thru” below. Having played Governors Ball, the Roots Picnic, and Sled Island, Dirty Projectors will be on tour in Japan, Europe and the UK later this summer. All dates are listed below.
