While we’re still unpacking that great, much-discussed Twin Peaks: The Return finale, there have been some additions to the 2017 edition of David Lynch‘s Festival of Disruption which happens October 14-15, 2017 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Among those are Lynch himself who will be in conversation with his authorized biographer, Kristine McKenna. More: Rebekah Del Rio, who sang in both the new Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive, will perform, and Bill Hader will talk with David Lynch Foundation executive director Bob Roth for a conversation about comedy, creativity, and meditation.

They join a pretty killer lineup, curated by Lynch, that includes Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten, The Kills, TV on the Radio, Reggie Watts, and Laura Marling, plus conversations with Twin Peaks star Sheryl Lee (“Laura Palmer”), Lost Highway star Bill Pullman, pop art icon Ed Ruscha, plus art installations by William Eggleston and Lynch, as well as Brian Eno’s Reflection meditation. There are film screenings, too, and more. Tickets are still available.

In other news, series co-creator Mark Frost will release new book Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier on October 31 which is a sequel to last year’s The Secret History:

While The Secret History of Twin Peaks served to expand the mysteries of the town and place the unexplained phenomena that unfolded there into a vastly layered, wide-ranging history, Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier tells us what happened to key characters in the twenty-five years in between the events of the first series and the second, offering details and insights fans will be clamoring for. The novel also adds context and commentary to the strange and cosmic happenings of the new series. For fans around the world begging for more, Mark Frost’s final take laid out in this novel will be required reading.

Meanwhile, the two soundtracks for Twin Peaks: The Return are out this week digitally and on CD, and will be available on vinyl via Italians Do It Better on September 22. While you wait you can read our guide to all the musicians who played Twin Peaks: The Return.
