David Lynch's weather reports return

David Lynch: visionary filmmaker, transcendental meditation guru… and meteorologist? As GQ reminds us, Lynch released a series of Los Angeles weather reports in the mid-2000s, including one where he was joined by frequent collaborator Laura Dern:

The reports themselves were nothing fancy, no green screens or moving fronts, just a description of the current weather in Lynch’s part of the word, and now, after many years, he’s done a new one. “Good morning,” he says, “it’s May 11, 2020, and it’s a Monday. Here in LA, kinda cloudy, some fog this morning, 64 degrees Fahrenheit around 17 Celsius. This all should burn off pretty soon and we’ll have sunshine and 70 degrees. Have a great day.”
