Dead & Company officially no longer playing Woodstock 50

First it was confirmed that Jay-Z and John Fogerty dropped off the troubled Woodstock 50 which is now taking place in Maryland, then it was revealed that the festival actually released every band from their contract, though fans were perhaps hoping that at least some of the lineup would stay. Well, now it’s been officially confirmed that the fest lost one of its biggest headliners: Dead & Company. A rep for the band confirmed to Rolling Stone that they are not playing the festival at its new location.

If you do want to see Dead & Co in the near future, there’s always Playing in the Sand. Bob Weir also has a few other shows and he’s playing Lockn’.
