Dead Cross share "Seizure & Desist," add Secret Chiefs 3 to tour

Slayer/Faith No More/The Locust offshoot Dead Cross have shared the video for another single off their upcoming self-titled debut LP, “Seizure and Desist.” The song kicks off with Mike Patton’s soaring clean vocals over Dave Lombardo’s blastbeats, and ends up going into even more spastic hardcore territory. The animated video was created by Eric Livingston, who also did the band’s album artwork, and it includes a character who looks more than a little like Donald Trump. Watch below.

Dead Cross have also announced that their upcoming tour will be opened by Secret Chiefs 3, the experimental rock collective led by Patton’s Mr. Bungle bandmate Trey Spruance. The tour includes NYC shows on September 12 at Gramercy Theatre (tickets) and September 13 at Warsaw (tickets). Dead Cross also play Riot Fest. All dates are listed below.

Dead Cross’ self-titled debut LP comes out August 4 via Patton’s Ipecac Recordings.
