Dead End Path releasing a new LP (stream a track)

by Kelly Kettering

Dead End Path

Pennsylvania’s Dead End Path know how to manifest some seriously tough hardcore. Releasing the follow up to 2011’s Blind Faith, their new LP Seance & Other Songs will be released via Triple B Records on June 10th. If you’re craving a crusty breakdown, head below and listen to “Procession Light”, the new record’s first single, which premieres here.

“We’re a hardcore band influenced by things other than hardcore,” said singer Uriah Thomas. “Death, Discharge, Hum, Bathory – that was really the building blocks for a lot of the songs on this LP… This track is a good reflection of all of those influences coming through and being reinterpreted by a modern hardcore band. I think most of my personal favorite hardcore bands probably have had a similar mindset when creating their music. Cro-Mags, Negative Approach, Poison Idea, Integrity – all hardcore punk bands that took from outside influence to create absolutely crushing music. That’s our mindset.”

Pre-orders of the album will be available in a week’s time. Album artwork and new song stream below…
