Dead To A Dying World announce East Coast/Midwest tour

Dead To A Dying World‘s new Profound Lore-released album Elegy (ft. Jarboe, Thor Harris, Dylan Desmond of Bell Witch, and more) is one of the year’s very best heavy albums, and though the Dallas collective recently wrapped up a West Coast/Southwest tour supporting it, they had still yet to visit the Midwest and East Coast. That will finally change this summer, as a new tour has just been announced with stops in Chicago, Philly, Brooklyn, DC, and more. For this tour, the seven-piece band’s lineup will expand even more to include Emil Rapstine from The Angelus (who’s on the new album and was also on the West Coast tour) on vocals and Zach Jobin from Cleric and Tyrannosorceress on percussion.

The Brooklyn show happens July 23 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for that show will be on sale soon. All dates are listed below.

If you haven’t heard Elegy yet, I can’t recommend it enough. You can read our review here and stream it below. Also watch the new video for “Syzygy” below.
