Deaf Wish prep new LP for Sub Pop LP, touring w/ Gotobeds (stream 2 songs)

Australian band Deaf Wish will release new album Lithium Zion on July 27 via Sub Pop. They’ve shared two tracks from the album so far and you can check out “The Rat is Back” and ripper “FFS” below.

The group, who are well named (they are loud live) will be in North America in September for Gonerfest in Memphis and will be touring on their way there, including a NYC show at Union Pool on 9/8 (tickets).

Many of those shows are with Deaf Wish’s Sub Pop labelmates The Gotobeds, though not the Union Pool show as they’re playing with another Sub Pop band, Hot Snakes that same night at The Bell House. All dates are listed, along with album art and tracklist, below.
