Deafheaven and Carcass touring, playing Chicago's Open Air (and aftershow) together

Deafheaven and Carcass are both on tour and will be crossing paths at Chicago’s Open Air Fest, where they’re also playing an aftershow together. The fest, which takes place July 15-17, features a number of big-name rock/metal bands that a younger you may have been into, like Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Rammstein, and Korn, but also a few less embarrassing groups like Corrosion of Conformity, Helmet, Ministry, Meshuggah, Gojira, and Babymetal, in addition to Deafheaven and Carcass. Tickets for the fest are on sale. Check out the recently-revealed set times below.

Open Air isn’t the only festival where Deafheaven and Korn will cross paths this year, with both bands playing Aftershock Fest in California in October. On top of that, Deafheaven has added a number of dates to their tour, though none are in NYC. All tour dates are listed below.

Carcass, however, will be playing an NYC show as part of their tour with Crowbar, Ghoul, and Night Demon. That happens August 4 at Gramercy Theatre, and tickets for that show are still on sale. Carcass are also playing the just-announced Sound on Sound Fest in Texas. All tour dates are listed below.
