Death Before Dishonor share song off first album in 10 years, playing shows

Death Before Dishonor

Boston metallic hardcore vets Death Before Dishonor haven’t released a new album in a decade but it would appear that they’ve got some unfinished business, seeing as they’re gearing up to release Unfinished Business, their first LP since 2009, on July 26 via Bridge 9. Lead single “Cowards Will Fall” is out now, and it’s a real skull-crusher that makes it feel like no time has passed since their last LP. It’s a very fine first taste of this anticipated record, and you can stream it below.

DBD recently played Brooklyn’s Black N’ Blue Bowl, and they’ve since scheduled another Brooklyn show, happening a few days before they play Philly’s stacked This Is Hardcore festival. It happens at The Kingsland on July 20 with Silence Equals Death, Ache, Nueva Etica, and more TBA. Tickets are on sale now. Those are the only two DBD dates we’re currently aware of, but we’ll update you if more are added.

1. Cowards Will Fall
2. True Defeat
3. Freedom Dies
