Death Grips @ Terminal 5 (pics/setlist)
Noise-rap provocateurs Death Grips brought their act to NYC to play Terminal 5 on September 16, one of a handful of dates that they’re playing around Riot Fest. They played a massive set full of music from throughout their now very-prolific discography (they most recently released Bottomless Pit in May).
Anyone who’s ever been to a Death Grips show knows that, if they actually show up, its always a high-energy affair. MC Ride is a unique, commanding frontman, and Zach Hill’s frenetic drumming adds a level of physicality to the performance that benefits it immensely.
