Deer Tick @ The Cap

Deer Tick, who recently finished up a residency at Brooklyn Bowl (night three pics HERE), opened for My Morning Jacket on night 1 of their three-night run at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre last night (12/27). Pictures from their set are in this post and pics of MMJ are HERE.

Deer Tick are continuing to tour and will play Maxwell’s in Hoboken TONIGHT (12/28) with Two Gallants, one of a few shows the two bands are playing together in December (and they’ll tour Australia together in February). Tonight’s show is now sold. If you didn’t manage to get tickets, you can still get tickets to Deer Tick’s friends Lucero‘s shows at Brooklyn Bowl tonight and Saturday (tickets for for night 1, night 2, or both nights).

Both Deer Tick/Two Gallants and My Morning Jacket will be heading to Cambridge/Boston for New Year’s Eve (separately). Deer Tick/Two Gallants play The Sinclair while MMJ will take over the Agganis Arena with Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
