Deer Tick & So So Glos played the "Shine a Light" benefit @ Junction (pics)
The annual Shine a Light Benefit happened on Saturday, June 9 at Junction in Long Beach, NY with Deer Tick as headliners (not their first time) and So So Glos on the bill as well. In additon to their own songs, Deer Tick threw in a couple covers as well, playing The Pogues’ “White City” and Billy Preston’s classic “You Are So Beautiful.” Check out the setlist below, and pictures from the whole show, which benefited the Tommy Brull Foundation, are in the gallery above.
Deer Tick’s next show is a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on Friday, June 15 in NYC and is a day show (1 PM, tickets) and they’ll be back in the NYC area for the Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park in September with Social Distortion, Blondie, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner, The Menzingers, Twin Peaks, Nicole Atkins, Jesse Malin, and more.
