Deerhoof share "Criminals of The Dream" video

Deerhoof‘s new album The Magic comes out June 24. They’ve already shared two singles off it; now there’s a new one called “Criminals of The Dream,” which is as surreal as its name, with that infectious Deerhoof sound. Directed by Trevor Shimizu and Josh Brand, the video features clips from Curb Your Enthusiasm and the band spending the day in the park with a dog. In a Facebook post, Greg Saunier said:

We’re big fans of his Trevor Shimizu’s art (I always have the best time at his gallery openings) and we’re thrilled he and Josh Brand made this video for us. This premiere of ‘Criminals of the Dream’ also happens to fall between John’s birthday (May 16th) and mine (May 18th) so it feels like an awesome gift from a friend.

As mentioned, Deerhoof will soon be on tour, including two NYC shows at Market Hotel on June 22 & 23. The first one is with C Spencer Yeh and Ava Luna, and the second one is with Kill Alters and Ed Balloon. Tickets for both shows are still available. All dates are listed below.
