Deerhunter opening Kings of Leon tour
Kings of Leon recently announced a tour and, weirdly enough, it was since revealed that Deerhunter will be opening. A half-empty arena probably isn’t the best place to see Deerhunter, but it does make a KoL tour sound a little more appealing.
The NYC show, as mentioned, is on January 20 at Madison Square Garden (not Deerhunter’s first time at The Garden). Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (10/21) at 10 AM local time with a Citi presale starting Tuesday (10/18) at 10 AM.
A nicer way to see Deerhunter is headlining a much smaller venue like Webster Hall, which they’ll do on Monday (10/24) on their tour with Jock Gang and New Zealand’s Flying Nun-signed Aldous Harding. Tickets for that show are still available.
