DeJ Loaf shares "Big Ole Boss" prod. Zaytoven (who released a new mixtape)

DeJ Loaf released a collaborative mixtape with Jacquees earlier this year, followed by the singles “Changes” and “No Fear,” and today she returned with a third single, “Big Ole Boss,” produced by Zaytoven. This is one of DeJ’s downtempo, melodic ones, and though you can hear some vulnerability in her voice, the lyrics are full of much-deserved self-confidence. It’s noticeably different from her other two 2017 singles, and fantastic in its very own way. And it’s keeping my hopes very high for her long-awaited debut album Liberated, which The FADER says will be out in 2018.

It’s a big day for Zaytoven, who also released his guest-filled Trapping Made It Happen mixtape today. It features Migos and Young Thug on the same song (“Five Guys”), plus Lil Uzi Vert, Young Dolph, Juicy J, and others. You can stream the whole mixtape below.
