Denmark trio Baby in Vain playing SXSW (other US dates canceled due to visa issues)

One of the bands playing the Burger Revolution show at Union Pool on Saturday (3/8) (with Threats and BOYTOY) are Baby in Vain, a three-piece from Denmark who are still in their teens and make bluesy sludge rock. You can check out a couple songs — and a sort-of endorsement from Thurston Moore — below.

The band are over for — guess what? — SXSW and will also be ~~playing NYC at Pianos on Friday (3/7), an early show with Desert Sharks (tickets)~~.

UPDATE: And the old “VISA ISSUES” strike again. It looks like the band are still playing SXSW but the other, non-Austin dates — like the two NYC ones — are off.
