Confluence

Denver’s Confluence came together in 2012 after its members had played in bands like Night Owl, The Show Me State and Floodplains. Last year, they put out their debut EP, I Haven’t Really Been Living, and they’re now following it with a series of singles, including January’s “Awaiting” and this month’s “The Line,” which premieres in this post. On both singles, the band makes the kind of melodic math rock of Minus the Bear or Maps & Atlases, and if you’re a fan of either of those bands, you’ll likely dig Confluence too. Take a listen to both tracks below, and grab an MP3 of the former single above.
