Punk legends Descendents are on tour now in continued support of last year’s great Hypercaffium Spazzinate, which was their first album in 12 years. They opened with “Everything Sucks” and “Hope,” and proceeded to play songs from all over their career, including a few from the new album and this year’s anti-immigration protest song. They had a brief mic malfunction in the middle of the set, but overall played a very breezy and fast-paced set. The show also had announced openers Audacity and surprise guests Mephiskapheles. Pictures are in the gallery above.

Descendents will be back in the area to play NJ’s Starland Ballroom on December 2 with reunited pop punk greats The Ergs! and Ruth Ruth (tickets).
