Desert Daze 2019 adds Wu-Tang, Ween, Devo, The Locust & more (full lineup)
Desert Daze have just announced the complete lineup of the 2019 edition of the festival, which takes place October 10-13 at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, CA. New additions include Wu-Tang Clan performing Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers in full, Ween performing Chocolate & Cheese in full, and Devo, who were teasing something and now we know part of that something is that Desert Daze will have them “kicking off their farewell tour.” Other new additions include Khruangbin, Alvvays, Pussy Riot, Moses Sumney, Jessica Pratt, Big Business, Blackwater Holylight, The Locust and more.
UPDATE: Devo deny that their Desert Daze appearance is part of a “farewell tour.” Desert Daze’s poster on its website still has “farewell tour” though.
For The Locust, this is their first-announced show in four years, and they say they’re also planning new material and planning to “function as a normal band again.” Read more here.
The new additions join The Flaming Lips playing The Soft Bulletin in full, Flying Lotus’ 3-D show, Stereolab, Animal Collective, Dungen performing Ta Det Lugnt in full, Parquet Courts, DIIV, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, Conan Mocassin, Lightning Bolt, Klaus Johann Grobe, METZ, The Black Angels, White Fence, Witch (ft. J Mascis / King Tuff), Viagra Boys, Anika, Atlas Sound, Fred Armisen, Part Time, Sasami, and more.
