Detroit's Stef Chura readies debut LP (listen), opening for Grooms in Brooklyn tonight, touring with Priests in 2017
Detroit singer-songwriter Stef Chura will release her debut LP, Messes, on January 27 via Urinal Cake Records (who put out Protomartyr’s first LP). Steph make hooky indie rock and she has a way with a turn-of-phrase, too. (Think Liz Phair joining Throwning Muses, that’s kinda like what she sounds like.) Stef is currently in NYC and will play TONIGHT (12/15) at Shea Stadium with Faten Kanaan and headliners Grooms (who will have a new album next year). That show is $10 at the door and flyer is below.
In the new year, Steph will be touring with Priests (who also play NYC tonight). All dates are listed below.
