Dev Hynes performing at The Whitney next week

Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, who just released that collaborative track with Bryndon Cook (Starchild) under the name VeilHymn, will be performing at NYC’s Whitney Museum on February 3. He’ll be performing his score for Easternsports, the “multisensory installation” by artists Alex Da Corte and Jayson Musson that is currently on view as part of the Whitney’s “Dreamlands: Immersive Cinema and Art, 1905-2016.” Hynes will be performing in the room designed by De Corte, creating a “synthesis of color, light, scent, spoken word, and music.”

Advance tickets for the event are sold out but limited number of standby tickets may be available at the admissions desk on a first-come, first-served basis. The standby line opens at 5:30 PM and the Easternsports program starts at 6:30 PM.
