Devon Welsh (ex Majical Cloudz) released new Belave LP, touring w/ Tim Darcy

Belave, the experimental project of former Majical Cloudz frontman Devon Welsh and collaborator Matthew E. Duffy, have released their third album, titled the world is rain. You can check out the seven-track LP in full, as well as the appropriately bizarre video for the album’s leading track, “the mellow haze and the grey salvo,” below.

Meanwhile, Welsh will be touring with Ought’s Tim Darcy in September, including a NYC date at Rough Trade on 9/8. Tickets are on sale, and you can view the full list of Darcy and Welsh’s tour dates below.
