Dez Cadena benefit happening in NJ this weekend with members of Murphy's Law, Underdog, more

Dez Cadena (Black Flag/FLAG, Misfits) was recently diagnosed with cancer and a GoFundMe campaign was set up for him, and now a benefit show is going down for him this Saturday (4/30) at Brighton Bar in Long Branch, NJ. Dez is performing in two of the bands, Dez Cadena & The Buzz Aldrin Trio and Jon Caspi & The First Gun, and other sets include Lost In Society, Suicide Crisis and Pep Rally. There will also be special appearances by Jimmy Gestapo of Murphy’s Law and Russ Iglay of Underdog. Tickets are on sale now.

FLAG (Dez included) are also touring, including NYC’s Gramercy Theatre and NJ’s Punk Rock Bowling.

In semi-related news, CJ Ramone (whose band has included Dez) recently announced a NYC show for June 4 at Knitting Factory with Broken Gold (tickets).
