Diet Cig announce debut LP, share "Tummy Ache," touring after SXSW

High energy indie pop duo Diet Cig have announced their debut album, Swear I’m Good At This, which will be out April 7 via Frenchkiss Records. The first single from the LP is “Tummy Ache,” which the band say:

‘Tummy Ache’ is all about unpacking the feeling of approaching punk with radical softness, and the struggle when it’s not always read as powerful or cool or whatever enough. Its the shout into my pillow when what I’m saying isn’t being heard, and a big old I FEEL YA to all the femme folks creating space for themselves in a world that wants to keep us quiet.

Listen to that here:

Diet Cig will also be on tour this spring, including two shows at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on April 7 (7:30 PM & 10:30 PM). Tickets for both Baby’s shows go on sale Friday, January 13 at 9 AM.

That tour comes hot on the heels of SXSW, which they played last year, too. All dates are listed, along with album art, below.
