DIIV share "Taker" from new album
DIIV have shared a second single from their upcoming album Deceiver. “Taker” is thick like molasses, somewhere between grunge and shoegaze, with a sticky sweet layer of harmonies overtop. Like the first single, “Skin Game,” it points to a new direction for Cole Smith and the rest of the band. Listen below.
Deciever is out October 4 via Captured Tracks and you can catch DIIV on tour this fall, including a stop at Desert Daze 2019 and Brooklyn’s Warsaw on October 24 (tickets). Chastity open all October dates, while Froth have been added to the band’s West Coast dates in December. All dates are listed below.
