Dinosaur Jr & Screaming Females playing surprise FREE House of Vans show tonight
The free House of Vans shows in Brooklyn have been going all summer, and there’s a just-announced surprise show tonight (7/12). Indie rock legends Dinosaur Jr, ahead of their tour with Jane’s Addiction, will headline the venue tonight with support from their pals/fellow shredders Screaming Females. RSVP is open now. The band will also be filming a music video at the venue earlier in the day (3 PM). The first 200 people get in and will be in the video.
The Dino/Jane’s tour hits the NYC-area for three shows this week. There’s Coney Island on Friday (7/15) with Nothing, Asbury Park on Saturday (7/15) with Minus the Bear, and Port Chester on Sunday (7/17).
Dinosaur Jr’s new album Give A Glimpse of What Yer Not will be out August 11 via Jagjaguwar. Watch the video for “Tiny” off that album, with their updated list of tour dates, below.
