Disclosure collaborators London Grammar releasing debut LP, announce North American tour (dates & streams)

by Andrew Sacher

London Grammar

London trio London Grammar have been putting out a steady release songs for the past year or so, and their career got a bit of a boost when singer Hannah Reid contributed vocals to Disclosure‘s excellent debut LP, Settle. Now London Grammar are set to release their own debut album, If You Wait, which comes out on September 10 via Columbia. If you’ve been into other recent British pop singers like Jessie Ware or Laura Mvula, this album should be right up your alley. You can stream four of its tracks — “Strong,” “Wasting My Young Years,” “Metal & Dust,” and “Hey Now” — along with the recently-released b-side, “Feelings,” below. The tracklist is below too, and that’s the album art above.

London Grammar are also touring this year, and they’ll be heading to North America in September/October for a run which includes a NYC show happening on October 8 at Gramercy Theatre. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (8/9) at 10 AM with Live Nation/LN Mobile App and Music Geeks presales starting Thursday (8/8) at 10 AM (password for Music Geeks is “musicgeeks”).

In related news, Disclosure will be in NYC on Tuesday (8/6) for their Central Park show with TNGHT and Julio Bashmore and their afterparty DJ gig at The Wall (251 W 30th St). Both sold out.
