Disclosure's pal Tourist releasing EP, touring (dates, streams)

London producer William Phillips began operating under the Tourist moniker last year (he used to be known as Little Loud) with his self titled EP that owed much to the warped nostalgia of chillwave. But for his newest project, the Patterns EP (due out 12/3), he’s signed to Disclosure’s Method Records, and veered his sound towards the deep house that’s very much been in style since that duo’s breakout success. You can stream two tracks from the upcoming EP, “Together” and “Stay,” below. Tourist also recently remixed Disclosure collaborator Sam Smith’s “Safe With Me,” and that remix can be streamed below too.

Tourist is set to go on his first North American tour this year, which begins in NYC during CMJ. His first show happens on October 18 at Glasslands, presented by Pigeons & Planes/Popgun. Tickets for that show are on sale now. He’s also got a TBA NYC show scheduled for the next day (10/19). Once he’s back in the UK, he’ll play the Disclosure-curated Warehouse Project on 11/22. All dates are listed below.

Disclosure will be back in North America soon too on their winter tour that hits NYC for three nights at Terminal 5 (Jan. 17-19). Tickets for night 3 are still available but the other two are sold out.
