Do Make Say Think playing shows behind first album in 8 years

Toronto post-rockers Do Make Say Think quieted down a bit after the release of 2009’s Other Truths, but returned this year with Stubborn Persistent Illusions, their first album in eight years, on Constellation Records. Their unique instrumental sound is in fine form on the long-awaited LP, and if you’ve yet to hear it, you can change that by streaming it below.

DMST have also announced some tour dates behind the new LP, including a return to NYC on December 2 at Murmurr Theatre (17 Eastern Pkwy in Brooklyn). It appears to be their first NYC show since Bowery Ballroom and MHOW in 2009. Tickets go on sale Friday (9/29) at 10 AM.
