Let’s face it, reunions rarely measure up to what we hope they’ll be. In that rare column of bands that still have it is UK crust greats Doom, who blessed both Maryland Deathfest and Chaos in Tejas in 2011.

The live dates were positively incendiary, and hopefully the band will be able to channel that force into a recording now that they have announced the new album Corrupt Fucking System, due on Black Cloud Records this summer. The LP features “Stripped, Whipped & Crucified,” a track that makes its first appearance on the Moshpit Tragedy retrospective 25 Years of Crust. Currently up for pay-what-you-want on Bandcamp, you can stream it in full at Invisible Oranges or below.
