Duster releasing first new album in 19 years

Spacey California indie vets Duster reunited for their first show in 18 years last year, and since then they’ve continued to perform live, including dates supporting bands they helped influence, like (Sandy) Alex G and Snail Mail. They’ve also been teasing new music, and we got a taste of a little new material with an instrumental track, “Interstellar Tunnel,” that they released in July. Now they’ve announced their first new album in 19 years. The 12-track, self-titled album is due out on December 13 via Mudd Guts, and you can see the cover art below.

Duster play Octfest in NYC this Saturday (10/19), which is their only upcoming show at the moment.
