Eagulls played Rough Trade (pics), streaming 'Ullages,' announce June tour, playing Northside with Pure Bathing Culture

Eagulls second album, Ullages, is out this week and while it’s still in the same gloomy post-punk universe as their debut, the new record takes a different tack, slowing things down a bit with a greater emphasis on atmosphere and dynamics. You can stream the whole album via Apple Music.

The band celebrated the new LP early in NYC, playing Rough Trade on Monday night (5/9).A full set of pics from that show are in this post. Eagulls will be back in North America in about a month for a proper tour, including a visit to Brooklyn’s Northside Festival where they’ll play Baby’s All Right on June 9 with Pure Bathing Culture. Tickets are on sale now or you can get in with a Northside badge (entry based on capacity).
