Eaters share soundtrack to ‘Eyes Have Brightened’ installation which is happening at Knockdown Center

As mentioned, Brooklyn electronic duo Eaters are part of Parquet Courts big Knock! Knock! Down! Down! show at Queens’ Knockdown Center on Saturday (12/10), performing the “Moment of Inertia” sound installation as part of the “Eyes Have Brightened” which will actually be on display for a few other nights at the space in December. Here’s a little more about it:

‘Eyes Have Brightened’ is a new sound/light installation by Eaters at Knockdown Center in Queens, NY. Building on the visual and sonic vocabulary of their unique live music performances, the show features sound and light sculptures and immersive installation elements by Christopher Duffy. This will be the New York premiere of their performative sound sculpture ‘Moment of Inertia’, and will feature a new soundtrack for the installation composed by Bob Jones and Jonathan Schenke.

The soundtrack to the “Eyes Have Brightened’ installation is titled Prisms and you can stream it here:

Eaters will also be performing the “Moment of Inertia” sound sculpture during additional gallery hours on Sunday December 11, Saturday December 17, and Sunday December 18 at 2, 4, and 6 PM. More info can be found here.
