Yesterday, the 2017 lineup for the Justin Vernon/Aaron Dessner-curated Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival leaked online after being sent out via pamphlets to early ticketholders. Today, more details on the fest are here.

That set billed as ‘Bon Iver Presents John Prine And The American Songbook’ will be Bon Iver performing with folk legend John Prine and “[presenting] a one-of-a-kind set of songs by Prine.” The collaborative set between the legendary Paul Simon and modern classical ensemble yMusic will be the premiere of their new project which “pairs classic songs from Simon’s extensive catalog with cutting edge arrangements by leading voices in contemporary classical music.”

As mentioned, there are a handful of Wilco-related sets, including one from the band themselves. Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer’s band Tweedy are also playing, John Stirratt and Pat Sansone’s band The Autumn Defense are playing, Mikael Jorgenson will reveal his new project Quindar, Nels Cline will perform with his partner Yuka Honda (of Cibo Matto) as the ambient duo Cup, and Glenn Kotche will do a collab set with Bon Iver drummer S. Carey.

Polica will be there as part of Music For the Long Emergency, their collaboration with European chamber ensemble s-t-a-r-g-a-z-e. Sylvan Esso are playing, and Sylvan Esso singer Amelia Meath’s previous band Mountain Man will be there to play their first show in five years.

The lineup also includes Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Feist, Perfume Genius, Collections of Colonies of Bees, This Is The Kit, Mouse On Mars, and more.

This year will also have something called Artists-in-Residence, which will have “an assembled cast of notable musicians [creating] an integral creative core, ready to jump in and contribute their talents to announced and unannounced performances across the entire weekend.” Contributors include Sam Amidon, Phil Cook, Bryce Dessner, Jenny Lewis, The Staves, and Anais Mitchell.

Tickets and camping passes to the festival just went on sale.
