Eaux Claires

Eaux Claires tease more of 2018 lineup (The National, Phoebe Bridgers, Sharon Van Etten?)

The Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner-curated Eaux Claires music festival is taking a different approach to announcing its lineup this year. They already posted one teaser that caused speculation that Low, Kevin Morby, Moses Sumney and Pussy Riot are playing, and they now posted a second teaser with more music clips, presumably hinting at more of the lineup. The new teaser again includes music by Pussy Riot, plus Phoebe Bridgers, Anais Mitchell, Sharon Van Etten, and more, and there’s a part around 3:58 that sorta sounds like an alternative version of Aaron Dessner’s band The National‘s “I’ll Still Destroy You.” Listen for yourself here. Tickets are still available.

UPDATE: Anais Mitchell confirmed her appearance, and added that she’ll be playing new collaborative music with Josh Kaufman at the festival:

The National also announced the initial lineup for their own Homecoming festival in Cincinnati today, and they were announced as headliners for Atlanta’s Shaky Knees.
