Weeks after Washington’s Gorge Amphitheater hosted the lightly-troubled Sasquatch Festival 2016, the venue has been announced as the site of the newly-conceived EDM-oriented festival Magnifique. The inaugural Magnifique happens September 17th and features Kaskade headlining, plus Chromeo, Duke Dumont, Netsky, Mija, Branchez, Giraffage, Justin Hartinger, and a special guest TBA. Tickets go on sale Saturday (7/9) at 10 AM PST.
Despite some memorable performances, May’s Sasquatch Festival at the Gorge was notably plagued by unexpectedly low attendance and rogue climate conditions, leading some to wonder if it might signal a death knoll for the Northwestern festival circuit. Let’s hope Magnifique can avoid some of those curveballs and restore some confidence in show-goers.
