The lead single for El Perro Del Mar‘s new album, KoKoro, is “Breadandbutter” and the song seemed to also provide inspiration for the Swedish singer’s stage show. Baby’s All Right on Friday night (11/12) was decorated with packages of rolls and bread, along with flowers, while projections behind her and the band featured shots of an Asian grocery store. (The East is definitely a musical influence on the new LP.) Sarah Assbring, who is El Perro Del Mar, commented that it was a weird time to come to America on tour but that they were very happy to be here.
