El Ten Eleven's Kristian Dunn released an ambient solo album, made a video for "Staring at Screens"

Last year, electronic post-rock duo El Ten Eleven released their new album Fast Forward (and had a track off of it remixed by Lotus). This year, El Ten Eleven member Kristian Dunn put out an ambient solo album, More Music for Staring at Ceilings. It includes amazing song titles like “Kristian Dunn Is Not Afraid of Yo La Tengo and Will Beat Their Ass” and “Sinead O’Connor Was Right.” It also includes a song called “Staring at Screens,” which is something almost all of us do way too much. That song, a gorgeous Eno-esque soundscape, just got the video treatment. You will of course have to stare at a screen to watch it, and you can do so here. It premieres below.

As mentioned, El Ten Eleven are touring later this year, including a run with Bayonne that hits the NYC-area on November 6 at Garcia’s at the Cap and November 12 at MHOW. Tickets for Garcia’s and MHOW are still available. All dates are listed below.
