Eminem did a “Walk On Water” / “Stan” / “Love the Way You Lie” medley on SNL

Eminem is the musical guest on this week’s (11/18) episode of Saturday Night Live, which Chance the Rapper is hosting. For his first performance, he did his new single “Walk On Water,” with Skylar Grey on grand piano and filling in for Beyonce on the hook (which Skylar wrote). After Em ended the song with his “Bitch, I wrote ‘Stan’!” line, Skylar started singing the hook to “Stan” and then Em and his backing band went into the fan favorite. After that, they continued the medley into Em’s Rihanna collab, “Love The Way You Lie” (which Skylar also co-wrote). It’s no secret that Em’s newer stuff isn’t so hot, but hearing him do “Stan” was a reminder that Em can still kill it when he plays the classics. Watch a clip below.
