The 2018 nominees for the Emmys have been announced. Check out the complete list HERE.

Highlights include Donald Glover picking up a nominee for Lead Actor in a Comedy series for Atlanta, and he’s up against Bill Hader for Barry, Larry David for Curb Your Enthusiasm, and more. All three of those shows were nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series against Silicon Valley, GLOW, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and black-ish.

Issa Rae was nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Insecure. Also, Westworld and Stranger Things are both up for Outstanding Drama Series. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s Portlandia and Saturday Night Live were both nominated for Variety Sketch Series.

Chance the Rapper‘s “Come Back Barack” from when he hosted SNL was nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, against Jonathan Coulton for “High Crimes And Misdemeanors” from The Good Fight, Steve Martin for “The Buddy” song from Steve Martin & Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life, and others.

Atlanta, Stranger Things, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, This Is Us and Westworld are all up for Outstanding Music Supervision.

Twin Peaks was nominated for a few categories (like cinematography, sound editing, production design, hairstyling, makeup, and more) but notably snubbed in the Outstanding Drama Series category. Director David Lynch was nominated for Outstanding Directing For A Miniseries Movie Or A Dramatic Special.

John Legend was nominated for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series noms include Jason Bateman (Ozark), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Ed Harris (Westworld), and more.

This year’s awards show happens September 17 at the Microsoft Theater in LA, and as mentioned, Colin Jost and Michael Che from SNL’s Weekend Update are hosting.
