Entry (ft. members of Touche Amore) going on East Coast tour

LA hardcore band Entry started as the duo of ferocious screamer Sara Gregory and her partner Clayton Stevens (who plays guitar in Touche Amore), and it eventually expanded into a full band with Touche Amore’s Elliot Babin on drums and Daniel Pouliot (Ancestors, Horse the Band) on bass. Their most recent release is their 2016 EP No Relief, which is six tracks of loud, short, fast, no-frills hardcore with Sara’s guttural screams leading the way, though they really seem like the type of band that you want to see live. Here’s an excerpt of Janky Smooth’s review of their set at Sound and Fury 2017:

Entry, the next band on the bill, seems to impress me every time I see them. Sara Gregory’s splintering vocals are just so powerful and devouring. And during this performance, she was thrashing around the stage with the kind of intensity that all Trump-era hardcore bands should have been pushed to. Like any great grind band, Entry makes revulsion sound sweet.

You can also get a taste of their live show by watching a recent live session, filmed at Programme Skate & Sound in Fullerton, CA earlier this year, below. But to really experience their live show, just catch their East Cost tour which begins in Boston on Monday (8/6).

The tour also includes a Brooklyn show on August 9 at The Kingsland with JUST, MAAFA, and Easy Lover (tickets). All dates are listed below.
