Erasure played three nights at Beacon Theatre (night 2 pics, setlist, video)

Synthpop icons Erasure played three sold-out nights at NYC’s Beacon Theatre over the weekend. The duo of Andy Bell and Vince Clarke were supporting both last year’s World Be Gone and this year’s orchestra rework World Beyond, but these shows were mainly about the hits, much to the delight of very enthusiastic crowds. Their sets included classics like “Oh L’Amour,” “Ship of Fools,” “Blue Savannah,” “Sometimes,” “A Little Respect,” Drama!” and much more. With a neon-lit set, Andy Bell was flanked by backup singers, while Clarke was perched above him with his keyboards.
