Eric B & Rakim reunited for a guest-filled Apollo show (pics, videos)

Eric B and Rakim reunited for their first show together in over two decades at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theatre last night (7/7), thirty years to the day since the release of their groundbreaking rap album Paid In Full. They brought out loads of exciting fellow hip hop veterans, including EPMD, Ice-T, Roxanne Shante, Kool Herc, Flavor Flav, Fat Joe, Slick Rick (who performed a free SummerStage show in Queens that same night), Mase, Main Source, Joeski Love, Keith Washington, Al B. Sure!, New Edition’s Michael Bivins, and still more. They did a few Paid In Full songs (not the whole thing like Rakim did on tour last year), and more stuff from all over their career.

We’ll have more pictures from the show very soon. Pictures in the gallery above. Check out a few videos from the night, below.

Rakim will do a live interview for Brooklyn Hip Hop Fest on Monday (7/10) and he plays the festival’s closing concert on Saturday, July 16.
