Errortype:11 tease 2018 reunion
NYC post-hardcore band Errortype:11 briefly reunited back in 2009 and played Mercury Lounge, and then again to open Shiner’s reunion show at Irving Plaza. It looks like they’ll be back again in 2018. Washed Up Emo points out that the band just launched a new Instagram account, which lists their years active as 1997-2002, 2009, 2012, and 2018.
Errortype:11 had releases on Walter Schreifels’ Some Records, Crank! Records, and a split with Gameface on Revelation Records, and their lineup included Arty Shepherd of Long Island hardcore heroes Mind Over Matter (who now plays in Primitive Weapons) and Adam Marino of screamo greats Saetia. Sammy Siegler of Gorilla Biscuits was in the band at one point, and after Errortype:11 broke up, Arty and Adam formed Instruction with Quicksand’s Tom Capone.
