BL'AST!

Santa Cruz hardcore band BL’AST! split in the early 1990s, but not without a lasting impact. Now comes word that newly unearthed tapes will be remastered by Dave Grohl and released as Blood!, due on Southern Lord on September 2rd. The tapes feature guitarist William DuVall (current Alice in Chains), who blesses the lead track from the record “Tomorrow” available below courtesy of Revolver.

Don’t forget that every week, you can tune into Invisible Oranges on East Village Radio on Tuesday at 10 PM Eastern to listen for the latest and greatest in the heavy underground. If you missed it, check out this week’s episode with JR Hayes of Pig Destroyer in the EVR archives and you can check out the playlist too. Next week we will host Bill Dozer, guitarist of Trenchgrinder, drummer of Hasj and owner of The Acheron in Bushwick, Brooklyn! Tune in Tuesday (8/6) at 10PM ET.

If you missed it, in the past week on InvisibleOranges we interviewed Incantation, delved deep into the lyrics of Babylon Whores, got pumped on Falls of Rauros finally being released on vinyl, streamed the new Gigan, Ulcerate and Ruins of Beverast, and got ready for a Sick/Tired tour.
