ex-Beta Band frontman Steve Mason released 'Meet the Humans,' shares video for "Alive"

Onetime Beta Band frontman Steve Mason released new solo album Meet the Humans in February on Domino. If you dug their vibey percussion-heavy and acoustics sound, the new album should feel like a favorite sweater. New single “Alive” has a very cool video, directed by Rok Predin, which is like a remake of John Carpenter’s They Live in an 8-bit The Sims world. (Minus gum, ass-kicking and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, though.) You can check that out, plus a lovely animated video for first single “Planet Sizes” and a Spotify stream of the LP, below.
