Ex Hex working on LP #2, announce East Coast tour dates
Mary Timony’s band Ex Hex are currently working on their second album, which should be out later this year on Merge. While we wait for details on that, they’ve just announced a few late summer East Coast shows happening in Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, and NJ’s Asbury Lanes on September 9. Tickets for Asbury Lanes (and all four shows) go on sale Friday, April 20 with various presales starting Wednesday, April 18 at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, Bat Fangs — the band featuring Ex Hex bassist Betsy Wright’s drummer Laura King (Flesh Wounds, Speed Stick) — recently released their debut album and toured, including SXSW shows. They’re touring with Hop Along and Saintseneca, including the NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on May 30 (tickets).
